WATCH D.O.G

The Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S.® program began in 1998 in a single school in Springdale, Arkansas and has since grown into a nationally recognized program that has brought hundreds of thousands of fathers and father figures into the school classrooms and hallways across the country, WatchDOGS at Roberts serve as positive male role models, emphasizing the importance of education, while serving as an extra set of eyes, ears, and hands to enhance school security and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning and instruction. To learn more about the national program visit https://dadsofgreatstudents.com/about/ there’s also some WD merch available to purchase if you’re interested!

WatchDOGS perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room and playground, or helping in the classroom with a teacher's guidance by working with small groups of students. You will have a personalized daily schedule ready for you on your volunteer date.
