Let’s make Reading FUN!! My goal is for students to READ over Winter Break, so no Reading Logs turned in until we get back please. 🥰 Our goal is 15 books on the reading log side. IF your child wants to do a FUN reading challenge on the other side, email me a picture of them at Lori.benson@lrsd.org & they will be entered into a special drawing and may even get their photo on the school news!!! ❤️❤️📚📚

CONGRATULATIONS to our JES Spelling Bee winners!! We had a tie for 3rd place with Theo and Ruby, 2nd place is Hadley and our 1st place winner is Blakely Relano!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Blakely and Hadley will go on to the district level Spelling Bee to represent JES in January! Today was Ms. Spencer’s news team lunch. Our last hoorah 🎉 It’s a bittersweet day of saying goodbye to one team and hiring the next. Watch for a new team announcement on Monday. ❤️ If you see any of these amazing kids pictured, tell them WELL DONE!! Mrs. Cross & Ms. Benson are so proud!

Our amazing JES News Team had a live studio audience today of their biggest fans to show them support on their last week of work. They are handing the reins over to Ms. Cooper’s class next week. They have worked so hard and done such an impressive job!

These JES players and cheerleaders got up early today for the first basketball game of the season and brought home a big JES win! 52-3 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
