6th Grade: Don't forget- today is the 6th Grade Football and Pep Squad meeting. Both are at 5pm! Football will be in the Large PBL and Pep Squad will meet in the small PBL. If you have physicals, please bring them to the meeting.

This is a reminder that we will have sports physicals for our 6th Grade Football participants and any student who still does have their athletic physical at this time. In order for the student's to receive their physical they MUST have their completed Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation in their hand. They will not be allowed to call home to have parents/guardians bring it to them, and this will not be accepted in electronic format. Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we prepare for dismissal, please review the following important procedures to help ensure a safe and efficient process for all students.
Pickup Procedures (Carline)
* Please remain in your vehicle at all times.
* Students will not be allowed to cross traffic, cross into nearby businesses, or be picked up along the side of the street.
* Students who walk will be instructed to walk all the way to Ranch Blvd.
* Please be patient during the first week or two of school, as dismissal lines will likely be longer while everyone learns the procedures.
* We encourage you to allow extra time for pickup during the first few weeks.

* Students will receive their bus information during A6.

Please be prepared and patient during carline drop-off, as lines may be longer during the first week of school.

Cell Phone Reminder
The Bell-to-Bell No Cell Law remains in effect. Students must have cell phones powered off and put away as soon as they enter the school building and throughout the school day.

It’s time to kick off another exciting Skyhawk Volleyball season! Join us TODAY as our 7th and 8th grade teams take the court and begin their journey for the season ahead.
🌟 Before the action begins, we’ll have some very special guests taking the court—our 5th grade feeder school athletes and rising PVMS 6th graders who participated in our Skyhawk Mini Skills Clinic! Come cheer on these future Skyhawks as they showcase what they’ve learned and get a taste of game-day excitement.

✅ All 6th grade students are required to have their 11-year-old immunizations before they can attend middle school. If your child has not yet received these vaccinations, please schedule an appointment as soon as possible to ensure they are ready for the first day of school.
💊 The nursing staff will be available on campus Thursday, Friday, and Monday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, as well as at Welcome to the Nest Orientation, for families who need to bring:
• Prescription medications
• Inhalers
• EpiPens
• Physician orders and required medication forms
This is a great opportunity to get medications checked in and paperwork completed before school begins.

Good afternoon, Skyhawk 7th and 8th Grade Football Families,
Our practice schedule for next week is as follows:
🥵Due to the extreme temperatures and wet bulb readings, Monday and Tuesday's practices will be held at PVMS from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
🗓️On Wednesday, we will return to Scott Field, with practice again running from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
🏈Thursday will be our final 7-on-7 event of the summer at J.A. Fair Academy. Activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. in an effort to beat the heat. We ask that all players wear black shorts and arrive at school by 7:30 a.m. The bus will depart at approximately 8:00 a.m., and the event is expected to conclude around 10:00 a.m.
For our offensive and defensive linemen, your presence is appreciated but not required for the 7-on-7 event.
Let's finish the summer strong and carry this momentum into fall camp. Thank you for your continued commitment and dedication.
