Our kindergarteners are already doing real research!🐆💙They explored animals from around the world, learned new facts, and showed what they know through their writing and drawings. From Australia to Antarctica, our students are thinking, creating, and growing every day. We love seeing their confidence shine ✨

Chicot families, don’t forget about our Earth Day Recyclable Cheetah Contest 🐆♻️ We would love to see more of our scholars join in. Create a cheetah using recyclable materials from home and turn it in to Ms. Carr in Room 116 by April 22. We cannot wait to see all the creativity our Chicot Cheetahs bring!

One of our amazing parents stepped in and completely transformed our storage containers, and the difference speaks for itself. From prep, to priming, to painting, this was done with care, pride, and real craftsmanship for his daughter’s school.
Mr. Canseco, owner of Canseco Painting, has supported us with painting projects before, but this project took it to another level. His work has helped make our campus more student-centered and visually welcoming for every student who walks through our doors!
We are so grateful to have families like this pouring into our school! 🏫

5th Grade Sneaker Gala is almost here 👟✨ and we are READY! Join us Friday, May 1st from 5:30–7:00 PM in the cafeteria. This event is for 5th grade students only and will be chaperoned by Chicot staff. Parents may come in briefly at drop-off to take pictures only, but the dance is for students only.
Also, parents, our 5th graders have already cast their votes for the Exemplary Leader Court 👀 and they’ll find out who won that night at the dance! These are the students who truly show what leadership, kindness, and the 7 Habits look like every day. It’s going to be such a fun night celebrating our 5th grade scholars 💛
